You can usually make face masks with items from the pantry and fridge, making them a fantastic quick fix after a long night or stressful week. Here are some quick and easy recipes to target problem areas!
FOR ACNE- Mint face mask
1/4 peeled cucumber
5 ml of the diluted peppermint oil
4 tablespoons of green clay
The preparation steps are simple. Start whisking the cucumber with the mint oil. Stop when the mixture is creamy and pour the mixture into a cup. At this point add the green clay and stir until becoming a thick paste. Apply on face and neck and leave it on for about fifteen minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry yourself
FOR DRY SKIN- Avocado and honey mask
1/2 a very ripe avocado
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
Mash or puree the avocado until it’s smooth, and then blend in the rest of the ingredients. Apply to your face, avoiding your eyes, and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Wipe your skin clean with a damp, warm cloth, or rinse your face with warm water in the shower.
